Question

This is kinda a follow up from the Radeon 9500 Pro thread - I'm wondering if my PC will be enough to run Doom 3 at full whack - has anyone seen any recommended system specs for Doom 3?

Downloaded the E3 trailer the other day - it looks awesome!

It is alledged in an Xbox mag that it may become an Xbox exclusive due to a possible buyout.

Thats not remotely possible and utter rubbish. Carmack has designed the game to be THE groundbreaking game to the extent it will physically own your PC. Its really designed to push the limits of your system and gfx card. Its not supposed to sell masses but is supposed to rake in the royalties from other games using their engine. Doom3 will be the single most game in PC history to force people to buy a new gfx card mark my words.

An X box cannot remotely handle the system stress, its not upto it nor will never be, its basically a bargain basement PC anyway.

John Carmack would never allow his game to go to X Box, its been demo'd on PCs since day 1, its designed on a Radeon 9700 pro and new Fx and will not even run on an X Box at anything other than 600x800 i would bet.

What is with all these shooting zombies/aliens games anyway? Bloody annoying they are, even if they look good.
