Having just had a roof mounted projector and surround sound installed in a room where my DVD is, the installer has also put in a Phillips Wireless TV link which allows the skybox and VCR in my main lounge to wirelessly transmit the signal to the receiver in the other room and thus show on the big screen via the projector.
Unfortunately the reception is very poor, sometimes OK , but mainly emitting buzzing and loss of picture.
I have no brick walls and the transmitter - receiver is only about 25ft in distance.
Any thoughts as to why as this surely is not the best the Phillips unit can do?
If I cannot improve it, we will have to hardwire the interface.

No. Have microwave in kitchen, but nowhere near nor "between" the source and receiver.
