Palm Zire - any thoughts
#1
I need to be able to store Names Address and call details(maybe) while I am out visiting clients. It would also be useful to interface with my PC to maybe tranfer details to address book.
A laptop would no doubt be ideal - running a contact management program - but as this is out of my pocket a cheaper option is required. Also I like the idea of a small hand held.
Are these any good, or just a gimmick - will the above model in anyones experience give me what I need?
Replies appreciated

If you're after a budget Palm - then you can't go wrong with this
http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/produc...de=SON-PEGSL10
This is about the cheapest you can get the SL-10 for too. Compared to the Zire it has more memory and also a higher resolution screen.
But to answer your question - the Palm looks like it'll easily meet your requirements.

Any PalmOS device sounds like it would fit the bill, I'd also recommend taking a look at Agendus as a replacement for the builtin datebook application, as it will wasily allow to track calls etc.
