Cool

Yup

Easypeasy

I take it you have a GPRS contract? Better & more cost-effective than GSM data dialup.

Goto O2 MobileWeb & select "Get Set Up" then follow instructions

Bluetooth is a better way of communicating between lappy & T68 but thats up to you.

I was quite happily sitting @ Leda last Friday, with my lappy VPN'd into my office over GPRS, doing emails whilst I awaited my shocks being rebuilt Also a bit of moderating as well

the laptop is seeing the phone through infra red

do i have to do anything with the phone, ie turn on GPRS WAP or something or does the Laptop do that automatically

everything that should be set up on the phone, ie GPRS is.

OK

Using the O2 Connect software, is that set up correctly? You should be using GPRS only (middle button RHS top of Advanced) & check that the modem being used is that for IR link.

You can give me a call if you wish - 07818 413 513 but it should all be there.
