How to disable NTL:World dial-up auto disconnect?

Question

Just wondering if anyone knows how to make the necesarry changes, if they can be made, so that my connection is not automatically ended at the 2 hour mark?

Very frustrating when 92% of a package is downloaded to be cut off with just minutes left... [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

It used to do my head in aswell but i never worked out how to sort it. Best thing to do is upgrade to broadband.

It's not possible because it's done from their end. Best thing to do is use a download tool that supports resumes -- I used to recommend GoZilla but it's so full of spyware. GetRight seems OK.
