These pics look great.
So did the ones for doom III that came out about a year ago. They made me drool so much I went out and bought a new graphics card to play it.
But a year on I'm all out of saliva and no game.......
I'll believe it when I see it! Remember this is the company that was supposed to be working on Team Fortress 2 and there were some pretty pictures of that too!

There's a 12 page article in PC Zone this month where they've played the game. Apparently it will work on a P3-700, 128Mb RAM and 16Mb GFX Card. Hmmm I'm not so sure - Yeah maybe at a 160x120 resolution 
Anyway I'll be waiting for either this or Deus Ex 2, and buying my new hardware then. No point buying now, but if you've got <>2Ghz and a Geforce4/9500+ I'm sure you'll have a good framerate.
Buy the magazine - the editorial on this preview makes for droolsome reading. It looks like this game is gonna rock bells as much as the first.
Valve have suggested September release.

The shots you're looking at are from a build back in september last year.
Half-Life II will be OFFICIALLY released on september 30th
