rare venture in here for me, i normally ask Mr Wallis, but i know he is busy, so leaving him be.
Anyway, we have a desktop within the office still running W98, and running Office 2000 Professional.
Worked fine since installed, except for the other day. Could access all MSOffice applications except for Excel. The PC would just hang, and then eventually respond with a system low on resources fault, this is not the case as processor indicates 80%+ free.
So after re booting, try imediatley to go into excel, same again, this cant be right
So i decided to completely remove office, and its directors then reinstall in a different location, hoping that would work, as i guess .dll files etc would then be over written.
Anyway, this has not worked, and i am now at a loss, other than search on microsofts site.
Can anyone help??
TIA
Steven
