Just got the following :-

Chaintech Zenith 7njs
AMD 2700
2 x 512mb Twinmos 3200 DDR 400
Radeon 9700

There are too many options for my small brain, however I do know the memory should run at 400 but its at 333 (2 x 166)

The FSB is set at 166 with a multiplier of 13.

Can anyone point me in the right direction plse ?

1st make sure your memory is in slots 1 and 3 for Dual-Channel operation i.e. 6.4 GB/sec as opposed to 3.2.

The PCI & AGP buses should be locked at 33MHz & 66MHz i.e. free from the FSB speed, so raising the FSB speed will not raise the speeds of the PCI or AGP bus which is good.

Try 11 x 200MHz FSB first and take it from there.

A memory setting of 2-3-3-7 should be OK to try the 200 FSB and if you can try running it at 2-2-2-6.

There is a lot of debate about nForce 2 boards being faster in sync mode as opposed to async, you will need to benchmark and make your won mind up.

yes, I did try a tweak yesterday but hadnt locked the AGP at 66mhz.

I was also confused with the memory settings so will give that a go later
