I have some pictures that i would like to post, I took them with my digi camera, But they are over 2meg, How can i compress them ???

Any help welcome.

you need to reduce their size - say 640x480 or 800x600. I assume they're in JPEG format if they're directly off your digicam?

I use Paint Shop Pro myself. You can download an evaluation copy from their website.

Not sure if MS Paint would reduce the picture dimensions for you.

You will need to convert them to a format such as JPEG (use Paint Shop Pro, easily available from www.download.com). If they are already in that format, reduce the size of the picture (from [example] 1280x1024 to something more web-friendly such as 640x480). This can be done in Paint Shop Pro too by 'Resize Image'.

Don't save the newly converted picture as the same filename as you will lose all the picture quality if you want to print them out in the future.
