Been looking at one for a while and found a brand new one for about half price with full warranty, so went for it....

Kids are amazed by it (my 2 boys 3 and 1yrs)

Some clever stuff going on in its head I can tell you.....

Neil

£650...never registered, brand new, with Aibo Life2, mem stick, charger and, of course, ball. Full Sony 12 month warranty.

Its the 210a model (latest version) with the faster processor (384Mhz IIRC)

Looks really good and a bargain price too? What can your doggy do that the original Aibo can't?

I dont know what it does that the orginal 110 model couldnt, but I'm as impressed as hell with it so far!

The way it just wonders up to you and tracks your hand / head movement is incredible, then it just wonders off and kicks its ball around the lounge, tracking it with its head then wondering over and booting it again.

I'm pretty sure that if I took the panels off the base I'd find a very small Labrador inside

my youngest son, Ollie (1yr old) seems fascinated by it!

Question

Yes- if you got it brand new can you let us know where from please? My girlfriend has wanted one for years now but I'm too tight to shell out the £1000+.

I went on Ebay and searched on Aibo's whos auctions had completed yet not sold (not met reserve).

here:
http://search-completed.ebay.co.uk/s...ty=MetaEndSort

(The one marked "Sony AIBO ERS-210a + Extras UK BASED Look !!!" is now mine )

I then emailed a few where the price hadnt got past £500 for some reason and asked how old it was and what they wanted for it.

Eventually found a 2 week old job and made the woman an offer.

She'd hardly used it but needed to sell it due to financial problems....so unregistered and all packaged as brand new....

Give me a shout if you want any info or help...

Neil
