URGENT: Win 2000 Server, Active Directory and FTP

OK, need help really quick on this one.
Just moved my FTP folder from one W2K server to another. Have setup IIS ftp stuff.
Problem is, I can connect to the ftp server via ftp, but any of the users i have created, which only have access to certain folders on the server cannot login via ftp. WHY!!!!!
The only difference I can see is that the new server has Active Directory on it.
Can someone tell me what the hell I'm missing here! (apart from my brain of course )
