Is this possible? (wireless network question)
#1
I have two pcs which are basically above each other (one on the ground floor and on upstairs) and I want to run broadband on both, I dont want to run cables through the house so i was going to use a wireless network. I've just found out that I have been accepted for the playstation 2 network gaming trial.
My question is this:
Is there a ADSL router that has both cable and wireless on it. I'm going to have to use cable from the playstation to the router, and as the playstation is near one pc I was going to place the router near by and use cable for one of the pc's aswell. But I need to connect the computer downstairs so I need wireless aswell. Is this possible?

You could use a Linksys WET11 to connect the playstation to the wireless network

USB adapters won't work with the PS2 because the PS2 hasn't got the capability to hold the wireless software required. To connect the PS2 wirelessly to the broadband connection you would need a wireless Ethernet bridge (aka WET11, DWL-810 etc). The bridge automatically converts an Ethernet signal (aka PS2) into wireless without the need to install any software
