Unhappy

Finally managed to get their phone number after resorting to yell.co.uk and getting their number from the head office.

Just a note to (IMO) avoid these people like the plague. Their support is possibly the worst I have ever had the misfortune to come across.

The woman on the end of the line, we'll call her Janet (), is possibly the most incompetent, unknowledgeable, irrate & unhelpful person I have dealt with. Doesn't even know the difference bewtween OE and IE

I have now been without email forwarding for over a week with no resolution in sight. What should be a simple task of them ensuring that their email forwarding sends my domain mail to the address I specified has become farcical.

Aaah, that feels better

Is there anyway I can get away from these fools ? and move my domain under the control of someone else ? I still have 2 more years with them

Just move the domain ... the new hosts will handle the transfer - although if you have not had it with lycos for long there may be a transfer-out fee.

I use www.host-plus.net, and they've been helpful and flexible.

Cheers
Steve
