They wrote my all time fave games....
On the Amiga / ST...
Cadaver
Chaos Engine (1 and 2)
Gods
Magic Pockets
Speedball I
Speedball II
Xenon I
Xenon II
and Z on the PC
Bought them all, and probably played them more than any others. Those guys were practically worshipped back in the good old days

Oh yeah, and Steven Cotton: our first game was released in 1987. I don't remember Ultimate Play The Game (as Rare were then known) releasing anything in 1977

you're partly responsible for me being a sad person
I remeber inviting mates round to listen to the music of Xenon 2 while playing as it was 'cool'.
That and setting up a mutiplayer league of Speedball 2

Not to mention on Get Fresh on Saturday mornings
BTW if you thought Speedball 2 was good, wait til you see Speedball Arena. Imagine Unreal Tournmament 2003's visuals, Speedball 2's gameplay balance, Fifa's league structure and CounterStrikes online options. Don't hold your breath though, release is currently pencilled in for xmas 2004 at the earliest

Speedball2 first game I ever saw on an Amiga. Was amazed at the sound and graphics. Was the reason I upgraded from a BBCB and games like carls cavern.
Bitmap Brothers games were always eagerly anticipated. Wasnt Gods supposed to be one of the first games with "intelligent" enemies.

Speedball - what a damn fine game that was. many an hour lost playing that.
