how do I play games from hard disk instead of cd

I've got hold of "Toca race driver" off a freind as it kept crashing his pC, works ok on mine 
but he wants it back to have another go 
so how can I save it to disk as it wont play without cd in drive.
Don't tell me,.... it's not legal........

got them for most of mine as its a pain putting the cd in when you dont need it

I think it's legal if you own the disk, you need a no-cd patch, I play all mine from the hard disk if possible - I hate faffing about changing cd's.

There does not seem to be a "nocd patch" for this game yet
or at least I can't find one.
If some of you feel it needs moderating, just hit the RTM button above
