Exchange server Question
#1
Hi All, I wonder if any of you can help me.
Our exchange server is set to add a footer to every external e-mail it sends out. Now who-ever created this footer has mis-spelled a word in it, but i can't find where the server changes this.
We are running exchange 2000 but using a 5.5 server to route the mail.
Cheers in advance.
David

Scratch that, some t1t has installed disclaimer software. Not only have they done that, they have password protected it and left the company without telling anyone!!!!!!!!!

You might be lucky and find that it stores config files as flat text or something. Do a "by content" search for files containing a bit of a phrase in the disclaimer.
Stop the service, edit it, restart it. Bingo.
Worth a go...
