Hi All, I wonder if any of you can help me.

Our exchange server is set to add a footer to every external e-mail it sends out. Now who-ever created this footer has mis-spelled a word in it, but i can't find where the server changes this.

We are running exchange 2000 but using a 5.5 server to route the mail.

Cheers in advance.

You might be lucky and find that it stores config files as flat text or something. Do a "by content" search for files containing a bit of a phrase in the disclaimer.

Stop the service, edit it, restart it. Bingo.

Worth a go...

Also try searching the registry for the text

Is it the 5.5 server that adds the disclaimer?

If it is, then it will most likely use a dll to do it. Probably called disclaimer.dll.
