Just wondering, although my GF3 Ti500 is equipped with a DVI out, I'm currently using a standard VGA lead to connect to my TFT screen.

Is it worth switching to DVI ?

Yes otherwise it goes digital >> analogue >> digital. With DVI lead it goes digital >> digital, better quality!

Yeah, I understand the ins and outs but does it make much difference visually ?

I found it was much sharper.

I only switched back to the analog 'just to check' , so my impression could have been biased though.

If we are selling DVI enabled workstations and TFT's to the big trading houses, they always buy the DVI cables as well... it does make a difference.

Watch out though -- DVI cables are expensive. I just bought an Eizo one for £29.95 or so inc VAT and shipping from Dabs but I had to wait for it. The Belkin ones are £50

Yeah, I've bought one from dabs for £25+vat and carriage.

You can get "single link" or "dual link" - whats that about ?
