Question

My wife is trying to sort dates fields in Excel for her cub scout pack.

She wants to be able to have excel calculate a child's age in years, months and days. Is there a simple way of doing this?

We've put date of birth in one column and format the cells to dates (eg 4/2/1993)
In a separate cell we've put todays date (eg 5/5/2003)
We can suntract the dates between the two to give the number of days the person has lived (eg 3685 days).
We can divide that by 365 to can the number of years (eg 10.08756).

How can we easily convert that to give years, months and days????

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
