Just wondering how you rate the board's or single DDR board

Thinking XP2100, epox 8RDA+ and 2* Corsair XMS3200.

Also considering using the on board sound.

What heat sink did you use?

Ive never really shown interest in amd before

TBH - I've not found a huge difference in system speed due to the additional memory bandwidth. I don't play games on the PC as frequently as I used to, and I'm sure the theoretical benefits would become more apparent with more use.

I have the same motherboard and the sound is pretty decent. Good enough for my purposes anyway. I ditched a SB-Live! 1024 for the NF2's onboard chip.

Heatsink is an Alpha PAL-8045 with a Papst ~30cfm 80mm sleeve-bearing fan (nice'n'quiet), on a T'bred-B 2400+.

Cheer, im thinking of just running a normal board rather then the Nforce to spend more on the gpu etc.

The dual channel memory bandwidth on the nforce and 2 boards isn't very efficient anyway.

I am not saying don't do it, as the nforce boards are great and the onboard sound rocks.
