Could anyone guide me on how to reset the admin password, I have access via the serial comm port.

Which IOS are you running? You can find the answer on www.cisco.com -- you need to search for "IOS <version_no> password recovery".

IIRC it's different for the v11 and v12 trains. It involves arsing around with the configuration register.
