Recently had broadband fitted, and I like to use my web cam to talk to relatives abroad, but my computer keeps crashing if someone could help me I would be very greateful.

Are you using USB Webcam & windows XP?
If so if you have a motherboard with a VIA 'KT series' chipset - it wont work
just crash after a second or 2
Workaround buy a cheap usb add in card
