I recently supplied a Suntek Vivid Caes to a mate. It's available in either Silver, Blue or Black and looks a bit like an Apple G4. Take a look at http://www.suntek.co.uk. Price is around £60 + delivery + VAT.

Nest multimedia case looks pretty good.

I bought a nice cheapo Nokia case. Silver, looks like a Nokia phone for some reason

BL,

I have a slightly different case (PC60 - very similar design) and it is nicely made - everything is thumbscrews and the motherboard is mounted on a slide-out tray which makes upgrades a lot easier..

As the case is aluminium, PC runs about 10 degrees C cooler as well.

Thanks

Gavin

Erm is this right about aluminium being 10C cooler? Seems way out to me, Nick or anyone comment? Ventilation is way more important than case material imho.

I can only speak from experience - my PC has been recently overhauled with lovely bottom of the range components, Celeron 1.7, integrated VGA/LAN/Sound/USB2 motherboard etc

I don't play games on the PC so I don't buy anything which costs more than £50...

Aluminium is a good conductor of heat (why intercoolers/radiators/oil coolers etc are made from it) so it can't hurt.

Thanks

Gavin

Yes Gavin, Aluminium conducts heat very well but the case is not touching anything hot for it to dissipate heat, your case doesnt touch your cpu, MB, memory or GPU. In short, the case only is a structure channelling the airflow from your fans = no bloody difference :P
