It appears that the Msftpsvc service that runs under IIS on Win2K Pro has an individual file size limit of 2Gb.
What's that all about then ?
Had to move 28 x 2.04Gb files between boxes today, and could I FTP them over, could I heck ? Best bit was that it transfers 2.0Gb then just stops and leaves you a 2.0Gb file on the GET side.
I hate Windows some days
Cheers

ntfs ones don't... on an Filesystem level anyway
lol find it funny that they leave the limit on the ftp server tho ..
typical
install a descent ftp server
or just install a descent OS (i.e. linux)

Not **** Just loads of model (weather) data.
Just seemes strange that the FTP service can only take 2GB but you can create files much larger.
Can't use Linux, can't use a different FTP server due to project restrictions.
Plan B is to split them into smaller chunks
Cheers
