Was down at Tesco's last night, they had for sale a Venturer DVD home systems for £125. Venturer was a STS21 AAS-10 model. Has anybody got any thoughts or comments on this? Is it too good to refuse, or will I be buying a cheap and nasty system?

can't comment on this particular system by b4 crimbo i ordered a cyberhome 528 from richersounds in the republic. 99 Euro and with P+P i came out at about £70. this thing once hacked via the handset has played everything i've thrown at it. it also plays mp3 discs and i mananage to get 21 of my cds into mp3 format (96k bitrate)into to one 80 minute cd. infact it has so impressed me i ordered another.

i just checked the site and the price is now 109 euro. this is for the hacked version of the player. they charge 10 euro for doing the remote hack. wtf. easy 10 euro. i think the hack is about 5 or 6 button pushes IIRC.
