Did anyone else read about NTL slapping on 1Gb download limits to it's broadband services ?

I hope the others don't follow suit here.

i can take 3gb just during the night the fact its on 24/7 doesnt help matters!

I think its absolutly outrageous and I will be cancelling all my NTL services. I often d/l more than 1Gb per day. Considering I don't like games and am not a massive music or film fan, none of this is warez.

In my spare time I am an open source developer for linux software and this requires a great deal of data transfer.

Its all legal, its not buisness related, yet I am no longer allowed to use a service I pay for.
