What can I use to play a Xvid-dvl.avi

Just downloaded a film (for back up copy obviuosly) and I cant seem to play it using WMP or realplayer. Any one know what I can use? I believe its not a usual AVI file.

Never mind, found piece of software that allows WMP to play it.

Called FDD show (just in case your wondering)

You just need to download the xvid codec and play as usual in WMP or whatever.

.AVI files are DIVX based so use a software like Cyberlink Power DVD & download the DIVX codecs V3 + 4.

BL - Not all .avi files are Divx encoded. In this case the more recent Xvid codec appears to have been used.
