Question

Got some of the dreaded Redbull under a few keys and have had no success as yet in getting rid of the stickyness!!!!

Any tips other than local Esso jet wash?

Spray the keyboard with a can of pressurized alcohol to remove the dust and I clean mine with Isopropyl Alcohol.......you should be able to get a small quantity from a local chemist. They may ask what you are using it for as its a popular amongst needle users!

The alcohol evaporates immediately but will remove coffee, and fizzy sticky drink residue if done carefully. Cotton buds!

If the worst comes to the worst, a new laptop keyboard won't break the bank.

Thanks u guys!!

Another Vodka and redbull frenzy is on the cards 2nite!!

Spray alcohol sounds good, could use it as a breath freshener in the morning.

I promise I always do this (see above) with my PC keyboards and other miscellaneous pieces of electronic equipment and hasnt harmed them in the least!!! Not sure I would do it to a laptop though

I put my keyboards through the dish washer. Honest to god.

Unscrew the back, take out the membrane and log all the plastic parts in the dish washer. It comes out amazingly clean.
