Couple of questions, how do you get friends? How do I get in on a session with you lot, can you choose who to play with?

Start the xbox without a disk in. Go to the live option on the dashboard work your way through and add the names on the list.

When in game you go to friends and it'll show who's online, you can then chose to invite or join them.

I'm seriously out of practice on MotoGP, but had some good races last night.
I think I'll have to redo my rider and have the 30/30/30/20 stats
There's no way to change it after the training is there?

You have to go through the training and championship again to change your stats. Everything full bar Brakes seems to be the winner.

If anyone's interested I'll be racing tomorrow evening, most slots will be reserved for friends so if anyone wants to race then feel free to drop by, probably about 8 o'clock onwards.

Seriously though, I went looking to buy the MotoGP full game and the box said nothing about being able to play it on xbox live. Is there a special version or can I just buy the normal game?

You get a special Online version of motogp with the lvie kit, but you can only race on 3 tracks (you appear as ghosts on the the other 8 tracks) and have a limited selection of drivers.
If you buy the full game and play through it you can unlock the extra 8 tracks and extra drivers in the online version as well as the full version (plus mirror'd and reversed tracks)

I redid my bike on Friday night, now got 30/20/30/30 stats.
Managed to take some seconds off my lap times (took almost 2 seconds of Suzuka, and that was with a lousy corner on turn 3 or 4)

Had a weird session of Mechassault. I hosted a game with Friends only (no private players) and somehow other people managed to jump on it :angry: Really spoilt the game.

Did anyone notice any probs on the weekend, I kept getting disconnected from games (some of them midrace)?
