Does anyone know if NT4 workstation has support for USB ? I have a box with this installed to SP6a and want to be able to plug in a PDA via the USB port. Can this be done ? How do I set up the hardware ?

Thanks in advance

3rd party onely, NT4 Sp6 introduced support for DVD, but since then Microsoft haven't done much else with NT, as I guess their trying to convince everyone to jump to 2000, oh and buy new licenses!

Thanks for the replies.

I done a search and found there may be a driver that allows NT4 to recognise the USB ports in the PC. However, after this is installed, you face the problem of not having a driver with the USB device you want to plug in. As NT4 doesn't support USB then you don't get a driver with almost all USB devices. Most even check the OS version and abort the installation so you can't even try a Win2k driver.

Thanks again
