Question

I'm getting varying degrees of success (or failure) when burning music CDs on my PC. Sometimes they burn fine - other times the first 2 tracks will burn fine and then the rest the quality goes downhill.

The package I have (Roxio, I think) is supposed to have this buffer overrun protection and I always burn on the slowest speed.

Is there anything else I should look for?

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers
Kav

Dump Roxio, get Nero - it doesn't get any better for burning CDs. I had Roxio v5.x and didn't like it at all, far too many problems to list. Nero works just great. Trial version is here - won't hurt to try it and see!

Nope - not affiliated with Nero, before you ask

What are you trying to burn ? some disks dont like to be copied, for these type of disks Clone CD may be better but for everything else Nero is the best.
Also what CDRW have you got and what disks are you using ?

Wink

Thanks Andy - not sure as I'm out in the US at the moment but I'll check when I get home.
