Question

anyone know what's up with Barclays Internet Banking? Haven't been able to get the website since yesterday. I went into a branch and they said as far as they knew there were no problems. I was wondering if it is a problem with my browser or something? I rather need to transfer some money so it is a bit of a PITA that I can't get into my accounts.

Charlie.

Barclays had some DNS problems yesterday. It was fixed but depending upon your ISP you may be caching the incorrect DNS info still.

Thumbs up

cheers Simon - that seems likely to be the problem. I have emailed the isp tech support to get their sh*t together.

in the end i managed to get on by getting someone to email me the DNS and going to:

https://193.128.3.139

it will come up with a message about the security certificate but that's just cos it doesn't match the url or something. it worked fine in any case.
