with users (dumbasses) who try and que 1.4 GB (yes GIGABYTES) to a print spool and then moan like f*ck that you canceled the job on them because "Its urgent" "Its non of your business" -it is when the disc runs out of disc space and no other user can print.

Not at all m8, set them up with a local printer.
Preferably a deskjet, and watch them feed paper in it all day.
