Default Fitting STI V Spoilers...!!!

Hi,

I am in the process of fitting a new STI V spolier to my93 impreza, i already have an STI 4 spolier but the new one has come with some kind of strips, i'm not quite sure what they do...

Also any tips when fitting, any extra holes need drilling etc...

Regards,

John.

Question

Are the strips some kind of sealing? Double or single sided?

It would probably be best to ask the person who supplied it for advice, but when I did mine, (STi6), I used the 3 bolt holes per side as normal, and helped it to stick with a good line of Cica-Flex (also called Puri-Flex) sealant/adhesive around it.

Default

If your spoiler has additional holes that require you to drill thought the boot then make a template from the spoiler to get the holes correctly placed on the boot prior to drilling (I fitted my STI5 spoiler the hard way and a simple template would have made the job a lot easier and quicker).
