Question

The sodding RHS hinge on my trusty Vaio F-series has broken, rather than sending it back to Sony for a ££££ repair I'd prefer to fix it by more economicnal means . I'd even consider buying a knackered F-series (with functioning hinge obviously) myself to have the parts available for this one.

Any recommendations for laptop breakers or parts suppliers?

Cheers

Wink

Miles,

I assume the breakage didn't come about during Windows 2000 installation

My internal hinge is broken at the moment - but my psychiatrist should be able to fix it
