Software for Contacts/Contact history?

Hi,
Just started a job in software sales and realised that a) whilst a filofax is fine for recording 'phone numbers in it's a bit cumbersome for adding emails/urls/mobile nos. as well and b) a notebook is fine for jotting down a few notes but becomes unwieldy after a couple of weeks as there is no 'auto search'...!
Tried using the 'Address Book' in Outlook BUT a) my computer crashed without the system people doing a backup (*may* get it back yet) and b) it is very limited in what it actually does - and as for getting printouts - you can have have name + phone number or name + email BUT you can't seem to be able to print out all details for a single contact! (If someone knows how to do this I would be eternally grateful).
So, what I would like is some software that keeps track of contacts (all details) AND allows you to add notes on a date basis AND allows you to print out everything belonging to s single contact AND allows you to synchronise databases if, as I will, you have the same software at home and at work. Oh, and the ability to search the notes.
Any suggestions?
Thanks a million
Dave

Maximizer is what you need , it is basically a complete contact management system. It allows you to create companys and save contacts, documents, notes and you are able to search in each different area.We have it at work and seems to work well !!

Dave,
Sounds like you need something like ACT or Goldmine though they are quite cumbersome. If you want something simple and free have a look here www.landerconsultants.com (Q contact manager, its free!)
Cheers
