Just connected the bt broadband last week but for some reason every time i turn the computer on and go on to the internet a dial error comes up.
But as soon as you re-boot the computer it loads everytime
My computer runs Windows XP maybe it could be something to do with it i dont know ??????????

do you still have your 56k modem installed in your machine coz if u do remove it. i would then remove the modem via the device manager. i would also check to see what the default connection is in the options page or IE.
hope this helps

we have the same problem now and again, and we have an ADSL speedtouch thing..!!
The dial up error to the btopenworld web page happens about 40% of the time you connect..!!
Someone did post an answer to this, of why it happens cant remember what it was something to do with other access to lines in your area or something..

Best posting this in the computer forum.
the 0,23 referred to earlier should be 0,38 (the VPI and VCI values of DSL in the UK)
Exactly which error number are you getting? e.g. 630, etc
