Hi all, I was just signing up for NTL broadband 128k connection when I thought I'd ask you if it is a a seperate line to your house or does it use my existing phone line that BT provides?, sorry if this is stoopid question but I want to get rid of BT as I'm sick to the back teeth of constant cutting off the internet with noisey line (been fixed 4 times in 3 weeks!)

[rant] I hate ringing them up and listening to them say "it's your phone, it's your modem, it's your ISP"..grrr![/rant]

They'll take their own cable up the house for the cable as it comes through the same stuff as their cable TV. The phone is down the same cable as well.

They'll leave the BT line well alone.
