Question

I need to change the default route on one of our Linux boxes (RH72).

If I type route, it shows the old setting but I can't figure out how to change this.

ROUTE ADD command?

The server only runs a HTTP proxy, so doesn't have any utilities like netconfig installed.

Is there a file I can edit?

Thumbs up

Thanks, I managed to find it.

Looked at the /etc/rc3.d/S10network file, which then pointed me to /etc/sysconfig/network.

The I spotted the GATEWAY= line.

Cheers,

Stefan
