Hi folks,

I'm after a decent book on Visual C++ 6.0
I'm looking for beginner /intermediate that covers basics ( refresher ) and goes onto multi-media application.

The end result is enough knowledge to help me put a MP3 / VCD / DVD/ DIVx player together.

Thanks

Iain :-)

Thumbs up

As far as C++ books go, I like the Herbert Schildt books - well written and presented.

I also like Ivor Hortons' books - both his Java and C++ ones.

If you have VC++6, just install it, and run through the Scribble sample/tutorial.

Thanks for the hints guys. Did the scribble tutorial but still didn't help me out with the more advanced stuff I want to do.

Someone sent me an ebook which covers my needs.

Iain :-)
