Just wondering if i bought a motherboard from america, do you think
a) they'd actually ship it to me
b) it'd still work right etc?
Just waiting till the 27th is frustrating!!

He
Si, you always run the risk of Customs doing a check on something coming in from abroad to determine if it is of any real value and then sticking an import duty tax fee onto it
Steve, don't forget that 12V is what a Motherboard actually runs on, so it is the PSU that needs to be 240V, which Si, like the rest of us UK users, have.
Cheers,
Nick

Oh god............
We have had this discussion before. I am not going for all out brute force. I am going for max speed with 1000000% stability and will achieve just that, so that is where we are going to differ, as you still have much to learn, young Padawan
Anyway, nuff said, you are going to have one hell of a job beating me, so
Enough of the sounding like children egging each other on anyway....
Cheers,
Nick

Check you CC bill when you get it, you'll more than likely see the amount in dollars, the transfer rate and certainly the amount in sterling.

Things that I don't know. Yes, that will be likely, not.
I am staying out of this now, as you obviously have way exceeded my knowledge, which you prove on a daily basis on here, errrr, not.

Your problem will be getting someone to supply you as most retailers there will not send stuff here. I did buy a MSi M/B from USA (when I was on holiday). When it died I had to return it to the USA for RMA. UPS tried to levy customs duty and a brokers fee on the replacement.
