Question

Just need to password protect a database at work, to stop unauthorised access.

Nothing technical. But where is the command to do that ??
Can see it in excel ok !!

It's fine to stop casual users tampering with the dB, but doesn't totally protect the dB. If someone really wants to get into the dB they will do so. If security requires protection from more than casual users, then seek additional methods of protection.
