I am on the final mission of the gataway and understand that the "Free Roam" feature will be unlocked on completion. When will I be able to play the game as a copper like it says that I can?

Anyone know as the game sounds very interesting if it can be played from the other way?

 

I thought that when you finished as the bloke, it went straight on to you playing as the cop? Dunno, I might be wrong....haven't got there yet, I'm still on about the 5th mission

 

Ahhhh...I see. I thought that I had nearly completed it? ****!

 

Just had a quick look on http://www.gamefaqs.com and it appears that you need to complete it with both characters before unlocking free roam mode

A little more to do then

 

I'm close to finishing Vice City (well, other than finding the hidden packages which I can't be arsed with)

Is Getaway worth buying - is it as much fun?

 

Gordo, The Getaway is excellent. May I suggest that you hire it for the night from Blockbusters for a proper trial but I suspect that you will buy it after that.

Totally different to vice city as you can't pi55 around in the Getaway until you have finished the game and unlocked the "Free Roam" facility.

I am still 13 missions away from that.

It is great though thrashing a Skyline around London.
