I have a Gigabyte 7ZXE motherboard with an amd duron 1ghz processor, just wondering if there is another processor i can just buy and slot in to make it a bit quicker

??

I would look on their website. I did that with my new motherboard (ASUS). It should tell you on there.

Have just done a quick search on Google and the first site I came to said it can support 600Mhz - 1.5 Ghz and faster (www.baber.com)
It can support Athlon and Duron. Hope this helps.
