Why can't I view the source code of websites with IE6 ? The menu item is there but it doesn't do anything.

Just like to be nosy once in a while.

Plus some websites have the source code protected to prevent nosy parkers

(But I'm sure you know that already.)

there are utility/software to block the "view source" from the user.

I'm sure its my config - eg IanW said "its working here" which I assume means he can view the scoobynet source.

I CAN'T view source from Scoobynet - can anyone elese ?

Does it work on some site but not others?

I believe there is a problemn with viewing the source of non well formed XHTML documents.

There is no method of preventing someone from viewing the source code, so it's not that.
