Autrorun a Powerpoint show from a CD?

I have a powerpoint file that I want to run in a slideshow as soon as the user has put the CD in the CD drive. How do I do it??

autorun.inf is the file you need to create, and in turn point that to the powerpoint viewer passing the name of the presentation as an argument.

Loads of info on the correct format for autorun...

If you save the presentation as a .PPS (Powerpoint Show) file then it will do away with having to have Powerpoint installed. Then just do as chiark recommends.
