Foundstone have published a warning of a buffer overflow exploit that'd work on Winamp and WinXP
WinXP is particularly susceptable, because the file does not even need to be launched in order for a system to be compromised.
Nullsoft have issued patches on their website.
Microsoft's fix is here
DO patch WinXP, as this is the sort of thing that could very easily compromise your system if you're into MP3s.
