Office Based SMS Terminal?

Looking at better ways of managing field engineers, but don't want to spend all day talking to the buggers.
Does anyone use a fixed office SMS terminal or PC software package that can send/receive SMS and keep a log?
Any advice appreciated.

As it happens...
Might be able to help you, but prehaps if you want to give us a call on 07818 413 513 or 07739 195 300 during the day? Know of various things designed for FSEs (or couriers in my case
) & can probably sort you out or advise you on a solution to suit your needs/budget.
