MP3 - breaking one long mp3 album into tracks

If I have a single mp3 file that is a whole album, but I want to run some clever software that will find the gaps and break the album down into tracks - is there any software that can do this ?

Cool Edit Pro will do the trick or any wave editor that can read mp3 files. Once you loaded the file, you will see the gaps in the songs, so cut and paste into a new file i.e. track.

Was trying to avoid decoding in WAV format, and rather have something examine the large MP3 and break it into separate tracks, also in MP3 format. Problem has been sorted.
