I am looking for a script to force a user to log onto a specific dc
I can force all the users to log onto 1 domain controller, but I need a specific user to do this....
has anyone got something that will do the job please ?

Hi guys, i would be interested in the solution to this.
I'm a contractor (yea i know), working on a rollout project;
and although not doing the users, profiles etc...this has cropped up. I think they got around this using groups.
(Sorry win2k servers and wkstn's in use)
Cheers
Glenn

I am using connectix (virtual pc) & testing some audit software, hence the need to point a specific user @ specific controller
david sent me this:
"its not the easiest of things to do by the looks of things...
you could 'logon' Ie authenticate to the server by doing a local login to a pc and then from a command prompt do the usual
either
net use * \\servername\ipc$ /username:domainname\username
or
net use * \\servername\c$ /username:domainname\username
which should be audited as you have to query the sam for these (assuming
nt4)"
but to be honest I need a full script rather than just running a net use from command line (even I can do that David) but thanks anyway.
I have a mate who is writing a pearl script for me now, in fact he has done a fair few scripts that will audit all pc's/servers on the domain, update hotfixes & service packs etc...using ms qchain.exe program so that only 1 reboot is required.
