Playstation2 - sound via amp + speakers ?
#1
Whats the best way to get my Playstation2's sound output through my amp and speakers ?
At present I have the Sony scart going from the Playstation to the back of my TV
I notice there's an optical/digital out - would this be best ?

hello. i take it this is in your car.
you know the end of the scart that goes into the back of your tele with the three colored RCA leads? Well you only need the yellow one for visual the other two are left and right channels for sound.
Take them out an run a set of RCAs from those to your map. Easy peasy"

Dunk - Cheers
Davie - No, its not going in my car - and I don't have composite video (yellow) and stero (red white) plugging into the scart plug then into the tv - its a proper Sony Playstation Scart lead.
I'll buy an optical / digital cable to do the job.

Should sound fantastic with an optical cable
Sounds like Daz has a proper RGB scart cable, not a composite to scart block one.
